ABOUT ME 

KGM Interiors was established in 2023 by me, Karlyn Evans .

 

For over 20 years, I have been dedicated to interior design, transforming my passions into my work. Having trained as a textile designer in fashion and interiors, this job is the dream, and as the old adage says , if you love your job you never have to work a day in your life.

The KGM way is, I hope,  a fresh approach to interior design without the stuffiness of traditional design studios.  I can bring some energy and passionate enthusiasm for all things design to help clients achieve a sense of homely comfort, imbued with quiet luxury, without that feeling of judgement.

 

​The drive to use natural fibres and surround clients with the very best on offer I maintain a strong commitment to ethical design practices that are not only gorgeous to look at but functional and comfortable as well. This can often mean reusing existing furniture or using my little black book of great suppliers to find that elusive interesting piece or commission the very best artisans to bring the design scheme together. I always want to make enduring interiors with a rich personal resonance which will evolve with you and last for years.

When I am not doing the interior design stuff , you will find me making and doing the same as a hobby, sewing , knitting, redecorating, building, painting, pottery; you name it I have tried my hand at them all. With varying degrees of success I will admit.
