KGM Interiors was founded  by me, Karlyn Evans. 

 

I have been working to make beautiful homes for over 15 years. Originally I trained as a textile designer in fashion and interiors, and I've spent all my working life in a creative field. Everything I've done, from my own embroidery and textile design for theatre and fashion to styling spaces, has been about making beautiful spaces and beautiful things.

I'm a proper textile obsessive, and it shapes everything I do. Every KGM scheme starts with the fabric. It's my way into a project, the thread everything else hangs from. Get the cloth right, and the colour, furniture and lighting follow.

That's why I champion natural fibres and ethical design, with interiors that look gorgeous and feel comfortable to live in. Sometimes that means reworking pieces you already own. Other times it means a call to one of the artisans in my little black book. Either way, the aim is enduring spaces with real personal resonance, which evolve as you do.

The KGM way is a fresh take on interior design, without the stuffiness of a traditional studio. I bring energy, enthusiasm and a well-trained eye to make your project feel smart, fun and thoroughly comfortable, with a touch of quiet luxury and no judgement whatsoever. Professional, yes. Po-faced, never. I throw myself into every project with energy and a lot of joy.

When I'm not designing, I'm usually making: sewing, knitting, painting, pottery, building. If there's a craft going, I've probably had a go, with varying degrees of success!​​​​
